Project Interconnection:
An existing 345kv Oklahoma Gas and Electric Transmission Line runs North/South directly through the project site. Chisholm View will interconnect directly onto this line and have the ability to deliver energy South to load centers such as Oklahoma City and North to load centers in and around Wichita, KS.

Project Size:
300MW (Approximately 125 -200 Turbines)

Project Turbines:
To be determined.

Landowners and Acreage Involved:
Chisholm View encompasses approximately 45,000 acres and involves over 150 landowners.

Commercial Operation:
The commercial operation date could be as early as Q4 2010.

Utility Buyers:
The power to be produced by the Chisholm View Wind Project is currently being marketed to local and regional utilities.

Project Developer:
The developer of the Chisholm View Wind Project is TradeWind Energy, LLC (“TradeWind”), which is headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas. The senior managers of TradeWind have a combined 80 years experience in the independent power development business including acquisitions and project development across the United States, Europe, Canada, and the Caribbean, as well as significant regulated utility experience.

Key Project Attributes:

  1. A 300MW Chisholm View Project would produce enough power for approximately 90,000 Oklahoma homes.
  2. The project will take only approximately 1-2 percent of land out of service to build, including all land for roads, turbine foundations, and maintenance buildings.
  3. Chisholm View is one of the most energetic wind development sites in North Central Oklahoma.
  4. Once fully developed, Chisholm View will pay over $3 million a year in total annual landowner payments that could escalate to over $5 million a year.
  5. The project will utilize significant local labor and materials for its construction and operations and will generate significant economic benefits to the local community.
  6. Chisholm View enjoys broad community support.
  7. The project is expected to have no material effect on any Threatened and Endangered species of birds or animals based on third party studies commissioned by TradeWind Energy.
  8. Chisholm View, when completed, will offset approximately 900,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year, 3,000 tons of NOx per year, and 4,000 tons of SO2 per year.
